Snow Removal in Terra Grande
The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is responsible for plowing the roads in our neighborhood.
VDOT provides the status of their plowing progress at https://plow4va.vdot.virginia.gov/public/map.
If you have concerns about the snow plowing in the neighborhood, you can report the issues by contacting their customer service line at (800) 367-ROAD (367-7623) to let them know about the areas that need further plowing or sanding.
Reminder: Slow down and be mindful of traffic regulations
Traffic throughout our neighborhood has picked up as of late which has brought new reports of speeding and cars disobeying stop signs. The TGCA board asks residents to be mindful of traffic regulations when driving through our neighborhood. Residents that witness traffic violations are encouraged to report them to FCPD at 703-691-2131. The board and our Neighborhood Watch coordinator are exploring additional options to curtail traffic issues, such as Fairfax County's Residential Traffic Administration Program.
Thanks for your help in keeping Terra Grande safe for our residents, particularly our littlest ones that may wander into the street.
Home maintenance and TGCA board community canvas
Spring is a great time to spruce up our homes in accordance with our Community Information and Policy Manual. Thank you in advance for doing your part to keep Terra Grande a beautiful place to live, adding to our collective property values!
Members of the TGCA Board will be touring the Community and notifying homeowners of any violations of our policies regarding the maintenance of your property. Items we will be looking at include trash cans not hidden from street view on non-trash days, Christmas decorations (they should have been removed before Valentine’s Day), doors and windows in disrepair, algae/mold growing on the front or sides of the home, etc. Community Canvas' will occur monthly during the year. If you have any questions about this, please contact any member of the Board.
